Job Title: Senior HSE Engineer - Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading the development, management, and effective implementation of Company/Department HSE objectives and targets across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Environmental Agency requests and ADNOC code of practice (CoP), Client HSE policies, and HSEMS.
  • Project execution in any phases (assessment, design & FEED) with a primary focus on safety design works and loss prevention studies.
  • Review of HSE deliverables with project management and engineering.
  • Handle and manage the HSE of construction with ADNOC HSE requirements.
  • Facilitate and ensure effective implementation of approved plans across project sites within set timelines for the smooth and successful completion of projects.
  • Facilitate timely preparation of regulatory compliance documents and approval from government authorities.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations and best practice on HSE.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the application of process operation systems and technology in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Environment Impact Assessment applicable at Abu Dhabi onshore & offshore.
  • Subject Matter Expert for technical safety, risk management, and loss prevention aspects in project execution.
  • Knowledge of industrial best practices & HSE laws/regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of all OH&S and other relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills.
  • Excellent incident investigation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline/Health, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
  • NEBOSH, OHSAS, IOSH, and Auditor Certification.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant HSE experience, with at least 8 years in operations within the Oil & Gas Industry at a Supervisory level.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Process design, FEED, and Detail Engineering and EPC.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE workshops.
