About the Role:
The Merchant Sourcing Associate plays a critical role in the success of our Marketplace, responsible for sourcing and onboarding merchants that provide benefits, curated offers, perks, and discounts across key categories such as F&B, retail, wellness, lifestyle, and more. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong, long-term merchant partnerships to drive seamless loyalty initiatives and maximize value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client requirements to ensure merchant sourcing efforts align with their goals, KPIs, and engagement objectives.
- Build, maintain, and expand a target merchant list by researching and categorizing merchants into relevant sectors.
- Validate and verify merchant information to ensure database accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with merchants and finalize merchant agreements.
- Monitor market trends, offer structures, and competitor practices to identify opportunities for innovative sourcing strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience or exposure in merchant sourcing or acquisition, preferably within fintech or loyalty domains.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
