The Role
We're seeking an experienced Decentralized Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications that leverage blockchain technology to provide seamless user experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Designing, developing, and maintaining highly responsive, visually appealing Android applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
  2. Collaborating with our product and design teams to conceptualize and implement new features in Figma that enhance user experience and drive engagement within Android applications.
  3. Collaborating closely with blockchain developers to integrate efficient data querying using GraphQL or other relevant technologies.
  4. Implementing Android-compatible web3 technologies to enable blockchain functionalities like transactions, wallet connections, and smart contract interactions within the DApps.
  5. Upholding application performance, quality, and responsiveness standards, ensuring code integrity and organization throughout the Android development process.
  6. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, Android development, and security protocols to continuously enhance the product's functionality and security.
  7. Creating Unit and UI-tests and a smooth CI/CD flow for internal/external testing and production releases.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Android development.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in building Android applications, including interaction with backends and databases (GraphQL experience is a plus).
  4. Familiarity with Android-compatible blockchain interaction libraries such as KEthereum, WalletConnect, or similar frameworks is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of development tools and methodologies, including version control systems like Git, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks tailored for Android.
  6. Experience or prior work in Blockchain and especially the Ethereum ecosystem is a plus.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
