  • Fabrication and Installation
    • Develop and implement fabrication plans to optimize yard equipment and resource utilization.
    • Coordinate cutting, fabrication, and installation sequences to meet project deadlines.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Review dimension control and fit-up inspections reports to ensure high-quality results.
    • Guide the team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare and submit work done reports, descriptions, and field reports to invoicers and estimators.
    • Maintain project files up-to-date with all supporting documents.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Train, motivate, and appraise subordinates to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Identify training requirements and provide feedback to uplift team performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
    • Graduate in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • At least 8 years of experience as a lead Foreman or Supervisor in fabrication and welding works.
    • 5 years of experience preferably in ship building, oil & gas, or new building.
  • Technical Competencies
    • Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yards.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Mariner application, and project management skills.
    • Ability to develop, read, interpret, and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline-related project and engineering documentation.
  • Training and Certifications
    • Supervisory skill and risk assessment.
    • Supervisory skill and relevant safety trainings.
