Aviation Maintenance Director

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Director to lead our line station operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft.
About the Role- Supervise Technical Representatives and/or Line Maintenance Supervisors as assigned, coordinating personnel schedules to provide maintenance support for aircraft operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining effective communication between departments.
- Manage Contract Maintenance Providers, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure personnel are trained and qualified in accordance with GMM policies and procedures.
- Maintain surveillance of line maintenance activity, providing resources and technical support as necessary.
- Coordinate line maintenance requirements with MCC, Maintenance Stations, Materials, Quality Control, and A/C Planning/Marketing Departments.
- Monitor Flight Schedules and fleet status to optimize resource allocation and ground time parameters.
- Identify and address mechanical problems, developing corrective action plans in coordination with MCC.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum five (5) years relevant experience, including three (3) years managerial experience.
- Current FM Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant.
- Company required qualification and authorization for Airworthiness Release.
- Ability to gain entry and work visas to countries operated by the company.
- Frequent travel to destinations to support operations.
