Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for various construction activities, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment between design specifications and budget constraints.
  • Analyze tender documents and prepare competitive bids for construction projects.
  • Manage contract negotiations and administer change orders effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delays.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project costs, variances, and budget performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-rise and mixed-use building projects.
  • Proficiency in using construction estimation software and tools, such as Candy Connect.
  • In-depth knowledge of local market rates, material prices, and construction industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
