Main Purpose of Role:

As a key member of the Penspen Ltd team, the successful candidate will lead the discipline designing performance on projects and provide expert technical design leadership and design assurance as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with international codes, standards, and engineering practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring high-quality design deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of onshore design engineering for the oil, gas, and water field, including familiarity with 2D CAD applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client protocols and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 7-12 years of experience in oil and gas design, with a strong background in engineering principles and practices.
  • Diploma of Engineering (preferable).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with ESD and CTB protocols.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
