Job Summary:

AJMAN UNIVERSITY seeks a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of clinical psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas of study, considering and aiming to achieve the three (3) fundamental standards of the University, those are: Teaching, Research, and services.
  • Research: Conduct research in the field of clinical psychology, publish papers in journals within the global databases (Scopus), and actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course objectives.
  • Service: Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to sustain student success, support and participate in accreditation initiatives, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • PhD from an accredited university in the United Arab Emirates.
  • At least (3) years of experience in teaching in an academic institution applying the credit hour system.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (Arabic is a must).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in teaching, research, and service in the field of clinical psychology.
  • Publication record in reputable journals.
