Job Role:

Intelligent Solutions Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Motor Underwriting Team Lead to join our client's motor underwriting team in the UAE. This leadership role requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of motor underwriters to drive performance and engagement.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies for the underwriting service delivery team.
  • Analyze data, identify risks, and make informed decisions on risk acceptance or rejection.
  • Underwrite complex risks in accordance with defined limits of authority and organizational policy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and price new products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in motor underwriting with a proven track record of success and relevant insurance certifications (ACII preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing market conditions and identifying profitable schemes.
  • Strong leadership experience within the motor sector, with a focus on driving results and improving performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to senior stakeholders.
