**Job Responsibilities**
The Senior Legal Advisor - Renewable Energy will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to renewable energy projects, procurement, and partnerships.
- Maintaining accurate and organized legal documentation, preparing reports for senior management, and assisting with regulatory filings and corporate governance matters.
- Monitoring and interpreting changes in UAE legal regulations and laws, advising on compliance issues and implementing necessary changes in company practices.
- Providing expert advice on corporate governance, labor law, environmental regulations, and intellectual property to various departments within the organization.
- Identifying potential legal risks and recommending strategies to mitigate them, including conducting thorough legal risk assessments and providing training to employees on relevant legal matters.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B) or equivalent is required; a master's degree or additional qualifications in energy law or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a legal specialist or in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of UAE legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly in the energy/power/utilities sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Will be required to travel and work on-site based in Ajman, with flexibility to adapt to the working environment.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
