Job Description

As a Founding Backend Engineer at Remo, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and build highly scalable, high-performance applications that will shape the future of compliance software. You'll tackle complex challenges that have a meaningful impact on our customers, working closely with the founding team to influence our roadmap.

You'll be responsible for architecting and building backend services that scale to handle high volumes of traffic, solving real-world problems in financial crime detection and risk management, writing high-quality, testable, and readable code that powers our platform, taking ownership of projects, breaking down large, complex problems into implementable solutions, working across modern stacks, embracing new technologies with excitement and curiosity, reviewing code, maintaining standards of excellence across the team, and staying up-to-date with the latest LLM developments and integrating cutting-edge AI technology into core workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone who's driven by a customer-first mindset, obsessed with product details, and committed to building impactful solutions.
