We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Crew member to join our team at Tortilla Restaurant. As a Service Crew member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Welcoming Customers: Greet and welcome customers in a warm and friendly manner upon their arrival, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Menu Presentation and Service: Present menus to guests and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages offered, ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their choices.
  • Order Taking and Service: Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers and enter them into the POS system, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
  • Quality and Presentation: Check dishes and beverages for quality, accuracy, and presentation before serving them to guests, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards.
  • Customer Service and Feedback: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience, attending to guests' needs and addressing any issues or complaints promptly, and gathering customer feedback and suggestions to enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless communication and coordination, and contribute to a positive work environment by being a team player and supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and being willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage: Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation methods, and the ability to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
