BIM Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at GHD. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Building Information Models (BIM) to support our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop BIM Models: Utilize advanced knowledge of design and drafting principles to create detailed drawings and models for our construction projects.
- Implement BIM Plans: Prepare and implement BIM implementation plans for each project to ensure seamless integration with our construction teams.
- Mentor and Train: Assist in the mentoring and training of junior BIM modellers to ensure they have the necessary skills to support our projects.
- Manage Project BIM Models: Oversee the management of project BIM models to ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, and meet our quality standards.
- Coordinate Modelling and Documentation: Coordinate the modelling, documentation, and design work to ensure that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information.
- Requirements Validation and Management: Validate and manage requirements to ensure that they are met and that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop BIM Workflows: Develop and implement BIM workflows to support our construction projects and ensure that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
- Open BIM Capabilities: Develop and implement Open BIM capabilities to support our construction projects and ensure that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
- Chair BIM Committee: Chair the BIM committee to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and that our BIM strategy is effective.
- Inter-Office Contacts: Develop and maintain inter-office contacts to ensure that our construction teams are aligned and that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Advise Management and Staff: Advise management and staff on advances and opportunities in BIM to ensure that they are aware of the latest developments and can make informed decisions.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of BIM principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
