Job Summary:

The Process Improvement Specialist will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence within The Sanad Group. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Improvement Projects: Coordinate the cross-functional teams in identifying, planning, and implementing process improvements. Provide guidance in the application of Lean principles, tools, and techniques to drive organizational change.
  2. Support Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting: Assist in developing project plans, monitoring progress, and reporting on key metrics to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  3. Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Utilize analytical skills to analyze data, review value streams, identify root causes of inefficiencies, enabling informed decision-making and targeted problem-solving efforts.
  4. Standardize Framework: Support the creation of a standardized toolkit and systematic approach to ensure consistency and adherence in driving continuous improvement across all departments within the organization.
  5. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate employees on process improvement methodologies and tools. Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices from prior projects to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to process improvement, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree would be a plus.
  2. Experience: 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in roles related to process improvement, project management, operations management, or related fields.
  3. Competencies:
    1. Profound Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Demonstrated advanced-level knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies, with the ability to apply these tools effectively to drive continuous improvement within the organization.
    2. Effective Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills to convey complex concepts, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    3. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Solid skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to create presentations, analyze data, and communicate results effectively.
    4. Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, with the ability to assist in planning, monitoring, and reporting on improvement activities.
    5. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) industry would be advantageous, enabling the Process Improvement Specialist to better understand industry-specific challenges and identify relevant improvement opportunities.
    6. Positive Attitude and Inspiring Leadership: Ability to inspire and encourage others, fostering a positive work environment and motivating teams to actively engage in continuous improvement efforts.
    7. Dynamic and Pragmatic Working Method: Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and hands-on manner, applying a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and driving tangible results in process improvement initiatives.
