Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at Metahunt. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Account Entries: As an Accounting Professional at Metahunt, you will be responsible for preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. This will involve working closely with various departments to ensure accurate and complete transaction information.

Financial Transactions: You will document financial transactions by entering account information, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurately reflect the company's financial status.

Financial Status: Your key responsibility will be to summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports. This will enable senior management to make informed decisions about the direction of the company.

Accounting Controls: To maintain accounting controls, you will prepare and recommend policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Financial Statements: You will be responsible for preparing financial statements and producing budgets according to schedule. This will involve working closely with department heads to ensure that all financial plans are aligned with company goals.

Books of Account: As an Accounting Professional, you will maintain books of account to accurately depict profit by project. This will involve analyzing account information and making adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy.

Department Coordination: You will coordinate with departments to ensure accurate and complete transaction information. This will involve working closely with department heads to ensure that all financial plans are aligned with company goals.

Payment Approvals: You will coordinate for approvals of payments and expense requests. This will involve working closely with department heads to ensure that all financial plans are aligned with company goals.

Cash Flows & Reconciliations: Your key responsibility will be to prepare periodic cash flows, bank reconciliations, project reconciliations, etc. This will enable senior management to make informed decisions about the direction of the company.

Audit Coordination: You will coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance. This will involve working closely with department heads to ensure that all financial plans are aligned with company goals.

Financial Discrepancies: You will reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information. This will involve working closely with department heads to ensure that all financial plans are aligned with company goals.

Data Security: You will secure financial information by completing database backups. This will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial data.

Transaction Management: Your key responsibility will be to verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions. This will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • QuickBooks: Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Project Costing: Experience in project costing.
  • Independent Functioning: Ability to manage accounting functions independently.
