Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Pipeline Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing pipeline systems for our offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Design and Development: Develop and review pipeline design documents, including alignment sheets, P&IDs, and pipeline route maps, to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stress Analysis and Flow Assurance: Perform pipeline stress analysis, flow assurance studies, and stability analysis to ensure the safe and efficient operation of pipeline systems.
  • Pipeline Materials and Coatings: Specify and select pipeline materials, coatings, and cathodic protection systems based on project requirements and standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases of the project.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving pipeline-related issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all pipeline design activities and prepare technical reports, calculations, and datasheets for review and approval.
  • Quality and Safety Management: Implement and adhere to company and project-specific safety and quality management systems, conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses related to pipeline systems, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Commissioning and Startup: Assist in the commissioning and startup of pipeline systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
  • Integration and Testing: Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for pipeline equipment and systems, and provide support for the integration of pipeline systems with other plant systems.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering, with a strong understanding of pipeline design, development, and operation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
