What You Will Do

As an E-Markets IT Support Specialist, you will be integral in ensuring the seamless functionality of our client's electronic trading systems. Your role will involve delivering second-tier application support across various global markets, promptly identifying and resolving any technical challenges that arise. Your expertise in problem analysis and solution design will be vital for your success in this position. Additionally, you will have the chance to impart your knowledge to team members, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement.

  • Deliver second-line application support for pre-trade systems from a global perspective
  • Analyze, design, and implement solutions to issues raised, adhering to best practices
  • Timely identification and communication of issues and risks to management
  • Assist Level 1.5 teams with problem investigation, resolution, and knowledge sharing as necessary
  • Proactively address the demands and challenges posed by the business and other IT departments
  • Ensure the integrity of systems and procedures within eCommerce IT
  • Contribute knowledge and collaborate as a team member within the eCommerce IT group
  • Engage in Functional and User Acceptance Testing for projects affecting eCommerce IT

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this E-Markets IT Support Specialist role will possess extensive experience in eCommerce and eMarkets support, particularly in a Smart Trade context. A solid understanding of trade processing, trade types, and straight-through processing is essential, along with experience in Linux and familiarity with API integrations and web services. Your strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities will be crucial in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, while your excellent communication skills will facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in eCommerce and eMarkets support, ideally within a Smart Trade environment
  • Proficient knowledge of trade processing, trade types, and straight-through processing
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with API integrations and web services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
