Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing staff performance, managing inventory levels, and implementing strategies to boost revenue and profitability.
About the Role
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational excellence and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
- Supervise and develop staff members, focusing on their growth and well-being.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering of supplies to meet daily demands.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop marketing strategies and promote sales initiatives.
- Prepare work schedules and assign duties to staff members, aligning with operational needs.
- Oversee financial transactions, including cash handling and POS systems, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Contribute to setting performance goals and targets for the team, working towards achieving them in partnership with the Restaurant Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
