Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Assess Business Risk: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify areas of significant business risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement Best Practices: Develop and implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements and industry standards.
  • Manage Audit Resources: Oversee the management of audit resources, including personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Develop and Implement Audit Plans: Develop and implement annual internal audit plans, including risk-based audits of operational and financial processes.
  • Conduct Investigations: Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Report to Management: Provide regular reports to management and/or risk committees on audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional certification such as CIA or CISA.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating business risk.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
