Job Summary:

Penspen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our Engineering and Projects department, you will provide technical expertise in Instrumentation and Control Engineering for various Offshore Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the team on Instrumentation and Control Engineering for Offshore Projects.
  2. Instrumentation Specifications: Participate in the development and update of Instrumentation specifications and standards for the Company.
  3. Engineering Support: Provide engineering support for all Projects executed by the Engineering and Projects department.
  4. Design Optimization: Ensure design optimization and application of correct international and ADNOC codes and standards in various Company projects and studies.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the project management team, site personnel, and outside consultants to ensure the successful and smooth execution of projects.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering from a reputable university.
  2. Experience: Minimum 15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
  3. Language: Fluency in English language.
  4. Skills: Conversant with relevant International Code & Standards and ADNOC standards related to engineering and the Oil & Gas industry. Good knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Instrument sizing calculations, and Control Systems such as ICSS (DCS/ESD/F&G), Wellhead Control Panels, HIPPS, Metering, and other packages in Oil & Gas projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Software Skills: Familiarity with Instrument engineering and general software such as Instrucalc, AVEVA, SPI, and MS Office.
  2. Inter-discipline Coordination: Familiarity with inter-discipline coordination and document review requirements.
