Job Description:

At JobShop, we are seeking a skilled Purchase Manager to lead our materials procurement process.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the entire lifecycle of building materials, from sourcing and negotiating contracts to ensuring timely delivery and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Contract Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure quality and cost-effective materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to understand material requirements and specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply of materials.
  • Vendor Selection and Negotiation: Evaluate and select vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, and delivery time, and negotiate prices and terms to optimize costs and terms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
