Job Title: VAT Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled VAT Expert to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of VAT, including review of data, preparation and filing of returns, and conducting VAT health checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review of data to identify anomalies and potential errors for VAT return preparation.
  • Preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.
  • Handling VAT refund applications, from preparation to follow-up.
  • Conducting VAT health checks to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting clients during audit proceedings with FTA/Tax authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in UAE VAT, with additional experience in Excise and Customs matters preferred.
  • Candidate should be ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CTA qualified.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, Sun System).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
