Ghobash Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Modeler to create accurate and detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for electrical systems in various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in drafting of electrical works in consultant companies.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other related tools is necessary.
  • You will be responsible for clash detection & clash report communication to the design team.
  • Multiple Revit model coordination will be handled by the successful candidate.
  • The preparation of design drawings such as lighting, power, containment layouts, lightning protection, earthing layout, and fire alarm will be your key responsibility.
  • Preparation of cable tray/trunking sizing, containment coordination & MEP coordination will also be part of your role.
  • Responsible for detailing schematics and assisting engineers with problem-solving and coordination with other services: architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on electrical systems in construction projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems codes and standards is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) are desirable.
