The Service Operations Department is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to be located in the Middle East region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, motivated, and competent team and presents growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving market.

The position will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, repair, fault diagnosis, and on-site servicing of Alfa Laval equipment, including Decanters, Separators, and Plate Heat Exchangers. The Service Engineer will be required to work across the region, with anticipated travel of 2-3 weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, audits, and on-site servicing of Alfa Laval equipment at customer sites.
  • Decanters used in energy, food, and wastewater applications.
  • High-speed separators used in food and energy applications.
  • On-site service and performance audit of Plate Heat Exchangers.
  • Troubleshooting of electrical/PLC controls associated with Alfa Laval equipment.
  • Executing audits and maintenance activities related to service agreements.
  • Training customer crew on operation of Alfa Laval equipment.
  • Preparation of service/audit reports with technical recommendations.
  • Safety-conscious attitude.
  • Ad hoc participation in service projects.
Requirements

Background
  • An engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical/Electrical or relevant technical educational background.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in high-speed and rotating equipment used in industries.
  • Application knowledge in food and wastewater is an added advantage.
  • High skills in electrical controls and PLC applications.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) are essential, along with an understanding of Microsoft Office products.
