Job Profile

We seek an Inventory Control Assistant to join our team at Al-Futtaim. This role focuses on supporting the inventory control process, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in core systems.
  • Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance services.
  • Creating and managing container manifests for goods receipt and delivery.
  • Coordinating internal transfers, including bin allocation and daily completion.
  • Preparing and verifying pick lists, shipments, and related documents.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment with retail warehouses.
  • Providing support to sales teams with delivery documentation preparation.
  • Contributing to implementing changes and improvements in services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and following audit guidelines.

Objectives

  • Meet or exceed targets, informing line managers of potential deadline issues and collaborating on priority setting.
  • Monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to internal and external replenishment and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting the Physical Inventory Team during annual stock counts.
  • Collaborating with the ISL team to deliver high-quality, consistent, accurate, and timely services within assigned areas.
  • Assisting line managers and team members in providing top-notch service to customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and numerical skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Good presentation and personal organization skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Knowledge of NAVISION operating system is beneficial.
