Key Responsibilities:- Process Design and Development: Lead the design and development of process systems, including the creation of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other technical documents.
- Process Simulation and Modeling: Conduct process simulations using industry-standard software, such as HYSYS and Flare System Analyzer, to optimize process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Equipment Sizing and Selection: Determine the required equipment sizes and types for process systems, taking into account factors such as flow rates, pressures, and temperatures.
- Process Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with process systems, and develop strategies to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure that project objectives are met and that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Professional Development and Mentorship: Share your expertise and experience with junior engineers, and contribute to the development of the next generation of process engineers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong background in process design, simulation, and safety.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in process simulation software, equipment sizing and selection, and process safety analysis.
