In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the contractors are compliant with the contract documents, coordinating with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed, processing inspection requests and technical submittals, and performing necessary actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
  • Evaluating contractor(s) compliance with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing.
  • Maintaining records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
  • Undertaking site supervision and inspections as required or instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Documenting contractor personnel and equipment activities, location of activities, reason for activities, and means and methods utilized.
  • Reporting on materials delivery and implementing site instructions made by the leader.
  • Applying and implementing all quality controls and quality procedures of the site.
  • Preparing site measurements and surveying checks needed by the leader.
  • Monitoring conformance to quality performance and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
  • Monitoring Health and Safety of the construction works and reporting on violations.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in Electrical methodologies and installation processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Building Codes.
  • Experience in Buildings of all types, in particular horizontal development, mixed-use residential and commercial retail, and underground car parks.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent at writing reports and presenting views clearly and concisely in good written English.
  • Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.
  • Experience in building-related type projects is required.
  • Candidates must have experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy with a minimum of 8 years of overall experience (minimum 5 years in the UAE).
