Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Skills Hub Recruitment Solutions. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help clients with movement and exercises, promoting their mobility and flexibility.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning and laundry tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities with clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Medical Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments, providing transportation and support.
  • Observation: Monitor clients' health and report any changes to our team, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of care, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to our policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in home care, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care and support.
  • Certification: CNA or HHA certification preferred, with current First Aid/CPR certification.
