Job Description
Our ideal candidate will prepare materials in support of general plans, master plans, specific plans, community plans, zoning updates, housing elements, grant applications, corridor plans, and other regulatory and policy planning projects. You will also oversee the development of high-quality documents, exhibit boards, and engagement materials.
- Conduct demographic, economic, environmental, and other planning research using GIS and coordinate interdisciplinary work for informed decision-making.
- Work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Provide support to our broader planning, design, economics, and outreach team to ensure smooth project execution and continuity of excellent client relationships.
- Interpret and apply applicable government policies, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
- Write and present formal and technical reports, working papers, and correspondence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. A keen desire to learn, a collaborative team-oriented work style, and Emirati family book status are also essential.
