Job Summary

As a Junior Audit Executive, you will be part of the audit team. This position is designed to provide practical experience and exposure to auditing and accounting.

You will work closely with senior auditors and managers to assist in examining and evaluating processes and financial records.

The reporting will be to an Internal Audit Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Internal Control Evaluation: Collaborate with the team to assess internal controls and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in Financial Record Analysis: Review and analyze financial statements, ledgers, and accounting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Data Verification: Verify and reconcile financial data, ensuring it aligns with supporting documents and is consistent with accounting practices.
  • Audit Testing: Perform various tests to assess integrity and reliability of financial information.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed workpapers and audit documentation, outlining procedures performed and conclusions drawn.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team members to discuss findings, share insights, and contribute to audit discussions and meetings.
  • Follow Professional Standards: Comply with all relevant auditing standards, policies, and ethical guidelines throughout the audit process.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in learning opportunities and training sessions to enhance audit knowledge and skills.
  • Special Projects: Support the audit team in special projects as needed, involving data analysis, research, and presenting findings.
