Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct studies on reservoir engineering to assess the economic viability of hydrocarbon reserves.
  • Formulate and execute strategies for reservoir management aimed at enhancing production rates and optimizing recovery processes.
  • Design well completions and production infrastructure, including the selection of artificial lift techniques and production apparatus.
  • Evaluate well performance data and apply techniques for production enhancement.
  • Collaborate with drilling engineers to devise well plans and assess drilling and completion activities.
  • Perform simulations of reservoirs to forecast performance and refine field development strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Petroleum Engineer within the oil and gas sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts, including well testing, decline curve analysis, and fluid dynamics.
  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation tools, such as Eclipse or Petrel.
  • Familiarity with completion and production engineering methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of drilling and completion processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites as necessary.
