Key Responsibilities:- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and equipment, including tracking and recording all incoming and outgoing items.
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts for various projects and operations in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of spare parts to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source spare parts and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Conduct regular audits of the spare parts inventory to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and maintain reports on spare parts usage, stock levels, and procurement activities.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and operations to identify spare parts needs and ensure timely availability.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in spare parts management is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably in the oil and gas or power industry.
- Strong knowledge of spare parts and equipment used in the industry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid driver's license.
