Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and Assess: Conduct thorough evaluations of our properties to identify maintenance, improvement, and upgrade needs, and provide recommendations to enhance their condition and functionality.
  2. Supervise and Lead: Supervise a team of technicians to perform a variety of tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements to our properties. This may involve instructing, leading, or supervising staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  3. Plan and Coordinate: Develop and implement plans to ensure all preventive, replacement, and emergency maintenance work is completed on time and within budget. This includes coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  4. Maintain and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building fixtures and equipment, including locks, windows, doors, screens, venetian blinds, gutters, drains, shelving, and kitchen utensils. This includes replacing light bulbs and fuses, making simple furniture and cabinet repairs, and assisting with electrical line and fixture maintenance.
  5. Implement Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are met, and that all relevant regulations, laws, and policies are complied with.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Prepare, review, and update maintenance plans, schedules, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability. Communicate effectively with maintenance departments, clients, and other partners to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  7. Site Inspections and Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to verify building conditions, check the operation of lifts, fire systems, and building pumps, and ensure all maintenance work is completed to a high standard.
  8. Client Service: Respond to tenant inquiries, follow up on urgent complaints, and monitor daily maintenance work to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance operations management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
