About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Architect to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex architectural projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Design and Development: Develop and implement architectural designs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Team Management: Manage and coordinate specialized activities, disciplines, or teams of moderate size and complexity, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to resolve design issues onsite and provide technical guidance to project teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring that communication is clear, concise, and timely.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years postgraduate experience and a minimum of 5 years of similar work experience on large projects.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong technical knowledge, computer proficiency, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, or 3D MAX, Photoshop, MS Project or Primavera, Power Point, and basic office suite.
  • Additional Requirements: Good knowledge of building codes, authority registration is preferred, and a UAE driving license.
