About the Role

Petrofac Emirates is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and materials control team, you will be responsible for managing all logistics and materials associated with well operation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Logistics and Materials Control: Manage all logistics and materials associated with well operation activities, including marine and aviation chartering.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legislative issues appertaining to the logistics and materials control discipline within the UAE and Oman.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics and materials control professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication and Presentation: Develop and present reports to senior management and stakeholders, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office suite and generic computerized materials management packages.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (preferable but not essential).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in supply chain management, with a bias towards logistics and materials control disciplines.
  • Well Operation Experience: Track record of managing logistics and materials associated with well operation activities, including onshore and offshore drilling campaigns.
  • Marine and Aviation Chartering: Well-versed in the complexities associated with marine and aviation chartering.
  • Legislative Knowledge: High level of knowledge of all legislative issues appertaining to the logistics and materials control discipline within the UAE and Oman.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and confident of presenting at board level.
