Black Pearl is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer - SCADA & Instrumentation Control to join our team in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaboration and Design: Work closely with our clients to design, document, and implement SCADA control systems and components for drainage and water networks.
  2. Problem Solving: Act as the lead problem solver in incorporating industry standards and modern technology into the SCADA design.
  3. Review of Engineering Drawings: Provide review and comments on electrical engineering control system drawings, including site location instrumentation layout drawings and control schematic diagrams.
  4. Client Representation: Represent our clients in design meetings with consultants and contractors, suggesting solutions and recommendations to evolve a standard design philosophy.
  5. Standards Development: Develop, establish, and upgrade SCADA design and implementation standards, ensuring our clients remain current with evolving SCADA design methods.
  6. Architecture Reviews: Review control systems architecture, material submittals, and design drawings for the entire SCADA system, including site locations and the central control room.
  7. Software Validation: Review and validate PLC/SCADA software programs, logic, operation, and functionality.
  8. Strategic Recommendations: Plan and suggest strategic recommendations and improvements for the SCADA system.
