The Procurement and Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, from procurement to the timely delivery of goods, with a focus on construction and fit-out procurement operations.

Purchase Operations:

  • Place purchase orders with suppliers based on approved requisitions and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Track orders, ensure accurate documentation, and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, documentation, or pricing.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance, ensuring adherence to budget and cost constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key suppliers to ensure consistent availability of essential resources.
  • Negotiate long-term agreements with key suppliers for stable pricing, quality assurance, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.

Pricing and Cost Control:

  • Negotiate pricing agreements to implement cost-control measures and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs through improved vendor terms, alternative sourcing, and volume leverage.
  • Implement structured cost analysis methodologies to track spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain a centralized vendor master database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across business units.
  • Streamline vendor management processes to improve procurement, payment processing, and vendor compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure timely payments and avoid duplicate transactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including strategic sourcing and cost negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical and market research abilities to drive cost-effective procurement decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing projects while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
