AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital development team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of BIM best practices across various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop and maintain expertise in Autodesk Revit, Rhino, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, and Dynamo.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 and other relevant BIM standards and classifications.
  • Project Coordination
    • Set up and manage project models, including the Common Data Environment (CDE).
    • Coordinate and manage 3D design and multi-discipline models, ensuring seamless data exchanges.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Interact with clients, owners, and agencies to understand and interpret BIM and digital delivery requirements.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Mentoring
    • Lead and mentor junior team members in BIM best practices and digital development techniques.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital development and BIM best practices.
  • Technical College Diploma or University degree in a relevant field.
  • Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Rhino, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, and Dynamo.
  • Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools.
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 and other relevant industry BIM standards and classifications.
  • Project set-up experience, including the CDE, design models.
  • Experience in 3D design and multi-discipline coordination, managing models and facilitating data exchanges.
  • Ability to interact with external entities (clients, owners, agencies) to interpret and understand desired BIM or digital delivery requirements.
