As a Senior Buyer at Amazon, you will be part of the Site Procurement Operations team that works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide procurement support and solutions. This role sits at the heart of site operations and works with local stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions to complex on-site projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and relevant experience in a Procurement environment. You should be proficient in MS Office suite and have negotiation skills both internally and externally. Additionally, you should be highly proficient in spoken and written English, and Arabic is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities include managing the SPO Process and policy from needs detection to execution of sourcing requirements, anticipating and understanding business needs to provide the right Procurement strategy, leading sourcing, suppliers' due diligence, negotiations, risk assessments, and other best practices, conducting market research and evaluating Suppliers manufacturing capabilities, delivering projects such as RFI, RFQ, etc., executing and supporting GPO projects and initiatives, and partnering with Site Leadership, other GPO teams, and key partner functions.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced Global Procurement Organization (GPO) supporting Amazon Stores Operations, and as a Senior Buyer, you will be a business partner for our sites, working in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Procurement peers, support departments, and suppliers.
