Job Summary:

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager Construction to oversee the smooth operation of construction activities and ensure the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and resources on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the logistics of construction projects, including planning, coordinating, and executing the movement of materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site, minimizing delays and disruptions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement contingency plans for potential logistics challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction logistics, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the UAE and Dubai.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics engineering, construction processes, and industry practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages used in logistics management and construction.
  • Proven ability to work in a lead capacity and lead cross-functional teams.
