Role Overview

As an Estimating Specialist for Fire Protection Vehicles at NAFFCO GROUP, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our proposals meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Analysis: Thoroughly examine tender documents to grasp client needs and expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Export teams to address any inconsistencies or need for clarification.
  • Design Selection: Choose appropriate designs, materials, brands, and equipment in collaboration with senior management and engineering teams.
  • Supplier Coordination: Engage with suppliers for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
  • Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with suppliers to clarify technical details and secure favorable terms.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive submittal files, including ISO certificates, licenses, and authorizations.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Assess supplier proposals for sub-components to identify the most effective solutions.
  • Estimation Preparation: Create detailed estimation sheets, commercial offers, technical specifications, drawings, compliance sheets, and other necessary documentation.
  • Strategic Pricing: Re-evaluate pricing strategies and proposals for previously lost tenders and re-tenders.
