About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our Amazon team. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in existing solutions and enabling the implementation of new solutions for customer cost savings in process workflow, systems configuration, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Improvement: Work across various teams at country, regional, and/or cross-regional levels to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance process efficiency.
  2. Project Leadership: Lead projects and opportunities across Operations that are business critical for MENA AMPS, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  3. Automation and Data Analysis: Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to drive automation through deterministic rules setup and machine learning algorithms, leading to processing of volume at scale.
  4. Business Development: Identify and drive new opportunities based on customer and business data, measuring the performance of these initiatives.
About the Team

MENA AMPS supports Selling Partners with paid account management services and enhances both CX and SPX via a suite of unified offerings. We aim to be the preferred choice for SPs during their Amazon journey to expand and optimize their businesses.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or similar).
  • Experience: 3+ years working experience writing complex SQL queries to perform data analysis, 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related quantitative functions, 5+ years of experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions.
  • Skills: Proficient in visualizing data through tools like QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools, experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to work with complex/large datasets, and scripting for automation (e.g., Python and Excel VBA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's or higher degree in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: E-Commerce, Retail experience preferred.
  • Collaboration: Experience working closely with product and tech teams developing large-scale data products.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytical skill in prediction, data validation, and optimization problems.
  • Design of Experiments: Experience in theory and practice of Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results.
