Job Summary:

Duncan & Ross is seeking a skilled Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our digital engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D mechanical BIM models using Revit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed 3D mechanical BIM models using Revit, ensuring compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans.
  • Integrate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical, and MEP models, resolving design clashes and inconsistencies.
  • Generate accurate construction documents, drawings, and schedules from BIM models, maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation.
  • Perform quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards, implementing best practices for BIM modeling and project execution.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, participating in coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of mechanical elements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler in design consulting companies in the GCC.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling, with strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and construction processes.
