Job Description
The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal care, preferably with experience in managing bird collections. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed. A high school diploma in zoology or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Bird Health and Safety: Monitor bird health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Training and Enrichment: Develop and implement enrichment programs to stimulate bird behavior and promote naturalistic living conditions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other team members to achieve common goals and communicate effectively with visitors and colleagues.
