About the Role

We are seeking a Fire Protection Systems Project Manager to join our team at NAFFCO FZCO. In this role, you will oversee the design and installation of fire-rated steel doors, ensuring compliance with local building codes and fire safety regulations.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough site assessments to evaluate the feasibility and requirements for fire-rated door installations. You will work closely with architects and contractors to integrate fire-rated doors into building designs while maintaining aesthetic and functional standards.

Preparation and review of project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and schedules, are critical to ensure accurate execution.

You will be responsible for managing project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Coordination with suppliers and manufacturers is also required to procure high-quality fire-rated steel doors and related components.

Facilitating communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, is essential to ensure project alignment.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in structural design principles.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in the construction and installation of fire-rated systems.

Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP or CAPM) is highly desirable to demonstrate project oversight capabilities.

Experience working with fire-rated building materials and knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and standards are essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex project challenges with innovative solutions.

Physical capability to conduct site visits and inspections, including the ability to navigate construction sites.
