Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician Power Distribution to join our team. As a key member, you will carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on medium and low voltage engine-driven emergency power generation systems installed in our facilities independently or as part of a technical team.

You will ensure minimal disruption to business operations while adhering to policy and procedures. Your role requires knowledge of regulations and standards governing the installation, operation and maintenance of emergency and standby electrical power generation systems utilized in utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Knowledge of engine-driven emergency power generation systems operations.
  2. Raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports and CMMS work orders.
  3. Perform troubleshooting and fault finding on automobile equipment and special vehicles.
  4. Read, interpret and describe electrical drawings (circuit and wiring diagrams/schematic and layout drawings) irrespective of manufacturer.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Generator Maintenance or equivalent.
  • IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
  • Current valid UAE driving license is desirable.
  • Minimum six years experience within commercial power generators environment or similar.
