Job Opportunity: Core Engineering Team for Africa's Payment Network

We are building the core engineering team that will build the payment network for Africa in a cutting-edge technology hub. We are looking for dynamic, impactful, and hands-on leaders to scale our network and platform across our top-priority African markets. Open for relocation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement state-of-the-art solutions for our production platform.
  2. Collaborate with other R&D teams on mutual projects to drive innovation.
  3. Solve diverse complex problems of high scale, leveraging expertise in DevOps and cloud computing.
  4. Support multi-region environments and provide support to worldwide-based teams, ensuring seamless operations.
  5. Adopt an everything-as-a-code approach: Run our infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  6. Develop and maintain tools for automation, deployment, monitoring, and operations, ensuring high efficiency.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environment, minimizing downtime.
  8. Conduct periodic on-call duties and emergency response, ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in cloud computing.
  2. At least 2+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, with a focus on containerization.
  3. At least 3+ years of experience in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  4. At least 3+ years of experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  5. At least 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  6. At least 3+ years of experience with IAC principles and tools such as Terraform, with a focus on infrastructure as code.
  7. Experience with configuration management such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, with a focus on consistency and reliability.
  8. Experience with alerting and monitoring systems such as DataDog, Splunk, or New Relic, with a focus on real-time insights.
  9. Experience with cloud networking and security, including connectivity, load-balancing, and DNS.
  10. High analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive results.
Advantages:
