Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Software Applications: You will design and develop software applications using a variety of programming languages, including Java, AngularJS, and REST.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers, to ensure that software applications meet the needs of our customers.
  • Test and Debug Software Applications: You will test and debug software applications to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our software applications remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, AngularJS, REST, JMS, JSON, Java Security, Jenkins, JUnit/Mockito, MongoDB, ElasticSearch/Elk, GIT/GITLab, MAVEN, Google Guice, Vertex, Microservices, and Docker.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Consuming and Writing Web Services: Experience with consuming and writing web services using REST and other technologies.
  • Experience with Generating Technical Documentation: Experience with generating technical documentation using tools such as Javadoc and Doxygen.
  • Experience Working in an Agile Software Development Environment: Experience working in an Agile software development environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience Managing Software Code using Git & MAVEN: Experience managing software code using Git and MAVEN.

Telework Availability: Maximum sixteen hours per week.

Work Location: Annapolis Junction, MD.
