As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for executing activities within your area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Support
  • Provide technical support to the Discipline Leader and other team members as needed.
Feasibility Studies
  • Analyze and understand tender documentation to identify technical queries, deviations, and alternatives.
  • Develop preliminary calculations to provide optimized quantity estimation.
Bidding Phase/Commercial Proposal Development
  • Implement bidding methodologies, design criteria, and guidelines.
  • Prepare technical specifications for SOW for soil investigation/topographical survey.
Project Execution (Job Progress and Completion)
  • Review contract project technical documentation and requirements.
  • Prepare design specifications for concrete foundation and steel design.
  • Maintain project technical files.
  • Set up and execute assigned engineering activities, such as detailed design, verification, and studies, to pursue objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in terms of costs, fabrication ease, and safety.
  • Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
  • Develop studies and calculation notes for reinforced concrete, piling works, steel structures (including connection details), and structural concrete/steel buildings.
  • Prepare SOW and technical documentation for soil investigation contracts.
  • Issue the technical bid tabulation for all geotechnical calls for tender.
  • Validate and issue project geotechnical specifications.
  • Provide technical support to the Discipline Lead for preparation of technical specifications.
  • Support the Discipline Lead in technical interface with the Client.
  • Provide design alternatives to prevent or mitigate quantity increases during execution.
  • Support the Discipline Lead to prepare technical evaluations.
Construction and Start-Up
  • Provide support for field engineering at the site.
