Sourcing and Procurement:

  2. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions for the company.

Inventory Management:

  1. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials.
  2. Work with production teams to forecast material requirements and plan procurement accordingly.

Quality Control:

  1. Ensure all procured raw materials meet the company's quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the plastic manufacturing or manufacturing industry.
  3. Experience working with raw materials like plastics, resins, polymers, additives or similar materials is a plus.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate supplier qualifications.
  5. Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  7. Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems is preferred (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.).
